Look what's growing in our garden!
This is the best time of year in the garden-before the heat of summer and while there is still some rain. We have had the heavenly smell of jasmine for the last month and now we have orange blossom and the scent of the caper berry trees. We are waiting for our Bird of Paradise to flower, but here in the meantime are some lovely lilies.
But look what else!
I have always been of the view that a car is a car is a car-it gets you from A to B safely and, hopefully cheaply and in comfort. I don't understand the customised number plate, the yearning for the latest registration and certainly not the fluffy dice, his and hers matching seat covers, etc. However, this car took us such an effort to acquire-at one stage rather a lot of money went missing while it was being transferred from the UK to Spain and then the town hall went on strike the day it was due to be registered-that I have become almost fond of it. It therefore has a name. It is called Red Clio. Cute, eh?
